About the Author
My name is Phil Conner, and I run Bargain Bourbon. I have been “researching” how to drink classy on an unclassy budget for most of my adult life. Bourbon is a great value whiskey because it is a domestic product in the U.S., so it doesn’t cost near as much as Scotch, Irish, or Welsh whiskeys. My goal is to provide reviews of bourbons that won’t break the bank, but still have good value based on the quality of the whiskey. Besides drinking bourbon, I also enjoy drinking other forms of whisk(e)y (which I will often review on the blog), playing golf, reading Leaves of Grass, and watching sunsets. My personal philosophy is that bourbon is best enjoyed neat, but it is also an individualistic and experiential spirit. The best way to learn about bourbon is to drink bourbon, and see what you like best. If you would like to get in touch with me, feel free to email me (firstname.lastname@example.org), hit me up on Twitter (@bargainbourbon), or check out Bargain Bourbon’s Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/BargainBourbon) Enjoy the blog, and let it ride!
