Here are the whisk(e)ys in my cabinet as of February 1st.  As always, please let me know if you have any great value bourbons in your cabinet that you would like me to review.  I’m up to review most anything under $75.

American:

Bully Boy American Straight Whiskey – This is a new release from a local Boston micro-distillery.  It isn’t technically a bourbon, nor is it a rye, but I’ll give the details in my review.  Stay tuned.

Bourbon:

1792 Ridgemont Reserve Barrel Select (unopened) – This is an 8 year bourbon from Buffalo Trace distilled at the Old Barton distillery.  I’ve wanted to try it for a while, and it was on sale, so I grabbed a bottle.

Angel’s Envy (unopened) – I’m thinking this will be a nice bourbon to have open when Boston starts to thaw out in April and May.

Maker’s 46:  I’ve still got an open bottle of this one, but it is going fast because one of my roommates realized how much better the 46 is compared to the original Maker’s Mark.

Wild Turkey Rare Breed – I’m about halfway through this one.  I should have my review up soon.

William Larue Weller (unopened) – I’m still looking for a special occasion to crack this one open.

Rye:

Thomas H. Handy Sazerac (Fall 2012 bottling)(unopened) – Again, I’m looking for a special occasion and some good whiskey connoisseurs to share this one with.

Willett Family Estate Single Barrel 4 yr. – I just cracked this one yesterday after a hard week, so it will be a few weeks before I review it for the blog.

Scotch:

Highland Park 12 yr. – I’m about halfway through this one.  I should have a review up pretty soon.

That’s my cabinet as of now.  Leave a comment if there are any whiskeys that you would like to see reviewed in the future.  Let it ride!
